Cash Ratio, Current Ratio, Earning per Share, Equity to Total Asset, Operating Margin Ratio
This research aims to know how The Effects of Current Ratio, Cash Ratio, Equity to Total Asset and Operating Margin Ratio to Earning per Share of Automotives Industry which are listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia.There are 7 companies which their data’s are used on this paper.
The data which related to those variables are taken from 2005 until 2010. Researcher use SPSS 17 to observe and analyze data. Variables have already tested to meet the conditions that there are no Multikolinearity, Autocorrelation and Heterokedastisity. It means that variables can be continued to make multiple regression.
First the data’s are not normally distributed. After that the data’s are outliers. The result is adjusted R2 is 0,393. It means that only 39,3% EPS can be explained by Current Ratio, Cash Ratio, Equity to Total Asset and Operating Margin Ratio. The rest 70,1% can only be explained for the other factors outside the 4 variables above.
With F-test, Current Ratio, Cash Ratio, Equity to Total Asset and Operating Margin Ratio influence Earning per Share together. With uji t,Equity to Total Asset and Operating Margin Ratio do not influence EPS. Current Ratio and Cash Ratio influence Earning per Share of automotive industries. Uji t has significant level 5%. Equity to Total Asset and Operating Margin Ratio do not have significant level at 0,128 and 0.069 respectively. Current ratio has significant level 0,000. Cash Ratio has significant level 0,003.
